submitted by Dan A. - |Recommended: YesBest Bang for your Buck in Traverse City — We have lived here for over six years. The staff in all departments are courteous, considerate and caring. All aspects of the property are well tended and not a leaf is out of place. The amenities are community based and where you can engage or chose to not engage based on personal preference. There is no other apartment complex in Traverse that offers what the Liv Arbor team delivers. Apartments are slightly pricey but add up all that is offered and the “best bang for you buck” in Traverse.
response from property -Thank for your review Dan and Jan. We love to read that residents feel as though they can take advantage of our amenities and events if they wish and find value doing so. Please continue to share feedback with our team!
submitted by Alysa R. - |Recommended: YesVery nice. I truley love it here. — Convenient. You have everything in one basically. Expeclley if you have animals.
response from property -We love our animals! We hope to see you at Yappy Hour on Wednesday!
submitted by Carrie P. - |Recommended: NoLiv Traverse City — Repairs to buildings are very slow
response from property -Thank you for your feedback, Carrie. We're hoping for a bit more information so we can exceed your expectations. If major repairs are required, typically a contractor is scheduled out at the beginning of the season and we have everything wrapped up as quickly as we can. If there is an outstanding work request please contact our team....it does not appear that there are any in our system so we can set something up for you immediately.
submitted by Erica P. - |Recommended: YesAmazing place to live — It's great. I love it
response from property -Thank you for your loyalty, Erica!
submitted by Nicholas K. - |Recommended: YesVery quiet and clean — I really enjoy living here, but knowing people that also live here I wish all the apartments looked exactly the same and each one had all the upgrades and finishes like others. I can not hear my neighbors at all, the amenities are very nice.
response from property -We see your point, Nicholas! The reason there are so many floor plans is to offer each unique resident a variety of options that will suit them. Thank you for your feedback!
submitted by Riley O. - |Recommended: YesGreat, beautiful Property — Beautiful property and amenities
response from property -Thank you so much for your kind words! Our team works hard to keep our surroundings and amenity areas clean and usable for our residents.
submitted by Kelly F. - |Recommended: YesFriendly atmosphere with great amenities for the community. — Very nice place to live Enjoyed all the amenities on property as well as the great location in Traverse City. Staff is nice however, maintenance requests sit unanswered too long and communication across the board is slow. Stairways echo like crazy, so anytime someone's walking upstairs, it sounds like a heard of elephants. Apartments have a great amount of space and tons of room for storage. My roommate and I loved the updated appliances in the kitchen and enjoyed sitting on our balcony during the summer nights. We enjoyed our year here and will be sad to leave our apartment.
response from property -Thank you for taking time to write a review, Kelly! We agree that there was a few months where the maintenance requests were taking a bit longer than our goal, however our team is back to being fully staffed and ready to rock! The balconies are sizable and pretty amazing for taking in the view of the nature reserve. We love seeing our neighbors out, taking advantage of the sidewalks and gather spaces around the community.
submitted by Victoria J. - |Recommended: YesGreat place except appliances. — Great place except appliances. The dish washer is really really bad and the washer doesn't clean very well and doesn't have a delicate cycle. Noise from neighbors is minimal. Most of it comes from stairs being loud.
response from property -Hey there, Victoria! The dishwasher problem can definitely be addressed. We will send you separate message asking for permission to enter to check it out. We are so glad that you are enjoying your experience!
submitted by Carla V. - |Recommended: YesIt is a nice safe place and has nice amenities. — It's a good place.
response from property -Hi Carla, Thank you for your feedback! We are so happy to read that you take advantage of the amenities offered.
submitted by Amy M. - |Recommended: YesI love the way they maintain the landscaping and buildings, and all the employees are very friendly and helpful. — I would tell anyone that for the amount of rent we pay you just can’t beat the amenities here. The building is quiet, and if you are a pet owner LivArbors has awesome trails as well as the dog park and dog washing facility. We love the clubhouse, fitness center and of course the pool
response from property -The trails are amazing! We work closely with the conservation to maintain this beautiful natural space!
submitted by Jay - |Recommended: YesGreat place but can be made better — It is an amazing place to live in Traverse City with beautiful scenic views and peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some issues I had include no place to charge your EV, you have to rent a garage which is gonna cost you more than you can possibly save on gas. And the hot tub was closed for the whole winters.
response from property -Thank you so much for the feedback regarding electrical vehicle charging stations. Our sister communities do feature this amenity and it is something we would consider in the future if interest is expressed.
submitted by Janet - |Recommended: NoRun Rent ANYWHERE else — This place will charge you like crazy when you move out. Maintenance comes in even if you state that they cannot enter while you are not there came in twice while I was in the shower . The office staff talks about tenants very loudly Theresa while there are other people around. Overpriced and seems nice, but be careful if you choose this place to call home. I learned the hard way.
response from property -Hi Janet, we are sorry to read of your opinion regarding our community. Upon vacating, our team expects normal wear and tear in an apartment home. Items such as punches in the drywall, past due rent, and destroyed flooring under five years old will be assessed depreciated costs. Our maintenance team strictly does not enter unless permission to enter is granted when issuing the work request, and upon approaching the home, they announce themselves twice. Resident information is maintained strictly confidential. I would value hearing more about your experience, if you would be comfortable reaching out via email or phone.
submitted by Brittney B. - |Recommended: YesGreat spot to live, great amenities. — There are more positives than negatives for sure. The size of the apartments are great, even with three people in one apartment. I love the amenities, especially the gym. Although I've never used the kitchenette game room area, I think it's a great space. I also think the free gym classes and apartment community get togethers are very cool. Also, the pool and year round hot tub are amazing. However, that's my first negative, is that the hot tub has been broken all winter. My only other complaint is parking spots seem to be full a lot at my building, so we have to park across the street in a different parking lot. Definitely nothing negative enough to make me move though It's affordable and nice Also, the staff has always remembered who I am and has been helpful.
response from property -Hi Brittany, Thank you for your feedback; we love our variety of floor plans and amenities, too! We agree that it was a bummer to have the hot tub down for the count during some of the winter months. We have finally found a vendor from southern Michigan that will be assisting us with repairs. The winter weather did not help, certainly! Thank you for your patience. Parking can be sticky if residents are not utilizing their garages, and this spring we will be sending a friendly reminder to neighbors to use their garage to park in if they have one. It's definitely more convenient! Thank you again for sharing!
submitted by Cody C. - |Recommended: YesGood but could be better — I feel like they try to make inexpensive look luxury and pull it off, for the most part. However, the exorbitant price for rent especially in the “updated” units is not justified and I hear they raised the rent. Office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities are amazing, especially the gym. The grounds are kept in pristine condition year round. Overall great, but could be better.
response from property -We love hearing that you've had a positive experience with the team, amenities, and grounds! We would love additional feedback regarding what you would like to see in an apartment home; feel welcome to contact our team via phone or email. We are in the final planning phases of upgrading some of the apartment homes that were built in 2005 and would be curious what residents find to be amazing, worthy features.
